Sometimes referred to a school satchel, other times as a shoulder bag, a leather messenger bag is possibly one of the best purchases I have ever made. Versatile, vintage, cute and yet extremely practical, this bag has it all. Mine is tan coloured and is big enough to carry my laptop on the way to lectures in, as well as all my notes and other bits. The sturdy leather means nothing gets crumpled and the school satchel style makes you feel studious and preppy.

Fashion mistakes #9 – the quilted coat
August 25th, 2011
Mariel There is a new trend I have seen popping up in shops and online, a terrible new trend that I never thought would see the light of day in fashion boutiques. If you like this style, then I want to apologize in advance for this rant but it is something I personally hate and have a bee in my bonnet about: a quilted coat.

I have written a lot of posts about nails. I know. But it’s because I love nail polish and all the things you can do with it. I have seen lots of very creative things that people have been doing online with their nails, not just with plain colour but including nail patterns into their designs. The designs always fascinate me due to their creativity or the sheer skill in creating them and I always wonder ‘how on earth did they do that??’ Here are some of my favourite nail patterns that I found online, well done ladies!
